As the UCE examinations begin today October 12th, 2026, candidates, schools, and parents in Katakwi and Teso have been warned not to entertain conmen who circulate fake examination papers claiming to be from UNEB.

The warning was sounded by UNEB Area Supervisor Katakwi District Joseph Opule who also doubles as Head Teacher of Katakwi High School.

According to him, stakeholders should be confident of their candidates and desist from being derailed by examination fraudsters.

Opule also urged parents to work with school administrators to settle the school fee clearing, warning students and parents not to use any school fee issues as an excuse to cause chaos prior to exams.
